What are some easy ways to build muscles in my arms and chest at home?

No Comments 03 May 2012

Question by brandonkiser99: What are some easy ways to build muscles in my arms and chest at home?
I’m a little guy. Pretty short for my age and skinny – very skinny. I’m looking to build a little bit of muscle in my arms and chest to both gain some weight and look less scrawny. I’m not a gym kind of guy and mainly want to stick to push ups, sit ups and other things I can do at home. Any suggestions?

I would recommend doing slow repetitions. If you have barbells at home, don’t do too many reps, rather, do more sets of fewer reps using larger/heavier weights. This usually builds muscle so that it doesn’t stay toned, but leaning more towards the “brolic” look :D You should also look into buying protein shakes or buying the powder to make it yourself. Always have rest between “workout days”, so that your muscles can grow.

Hope that helped.
and I gained this information from my gym teacher, who used to be a personal trainer, as well as from my friends who are into building up their body

I’m a 13 year old girl, and I’m very active. But most of my strongest muscles are my leg muscles. I just need to increase my strength and muscle in my upper body including, abbs, byceps, triceps. and my wrist muscles for tennis. How do I do this? My dad is going to ask Gold’s Gym if I am old enough to go to the gym, but what are other ways?

Fitness Boot Camp Marketing Expert Shares Top 3 Ways To Get Better Email Open Rates

Chino Hills, CA (PRWEB) February 29, 2012

Despite the emergence of newer marketing channels like video marketing, social networking and mobile app creation, there is still a place for boot camp marketing via email. In fact, it’s widely used for prospecting and, particularly, to increase retention rates. Sam Bakhtiar is a champion bodybuilder, personal trainer, fitness franchise owner and boot camp marketing expert with over 20 years of fitness industry experience. Here he offers several tips for getting the best email open rates.

1.    Email your prospects late on Friday.

Our studies show that more boot camp marketing materials are read on weekends and late at night. Friday, just before work lets out, is a very good time as people wrap up their work-related business before the weekend. For others, they finally have a chance to unwind and patiently look through their inboxes on a Saturday or Sunday evening. Sam Bakhtiar also recommends setting up an analytic program to run one’s own tests to see which hours yield the best open rates. “All the information is there for the taking if you have the tools to run metrics seamlessly. For a very small price, you can also outsource this work if you’re not really into data mining,” Sam explains.

2.    Create emails that contain worthwhile content.

Sure, some boot camp marketing emails will be sent for the expressed purpose to get prospects to sign up for a particular promotion. Only about 12 percent of emails are actually forwarded to friends, family and coworkers, so it’s a good idea to keep track of which emails get forwarded and do more of that. “We try to pack our newsletters with as much humor as humanly possible,” Sam clarifies. “We also like to give people healthy recipes and tools that will help them achieve their goals. We’ll send out some mailers that include newsy articles about health and fitness studies that have been catching headlines and we’ll include a few inspirational quotes or photos that make people feel good.”

3.    Consider the subject line very carefully.

The subject line is the most important sentence in all one’s boot camp marketing copy because all other copy is wasted if the prospect doesn’t open the email. If the subject line is too long, people won’t read it. If the subject lacks a value incentive, people won’t bother. “I recommend packing three descriptive words into your subject if you want a good open rate,” Sam advises. Something like “New Camper Checklist,” “Weight Loss Tools” or “Super Bowl Recipes” would fare well, for instance.

Email open rates are important in boot camp marketing because it shows the effectiveness of a sales team’s promotional efforts and also reveals data on engagement. “Effective communication is a big part of relationship building,” Sam says, “and those two things are what it takes to retain clients and drive referrals.” In addition to these tips, Sam Bakhtiar offers a step-by-step blueprint of how to ramp up a boot camp marketing program, cut expenses and get on-track to reach six-figure income within 67 days. Healthy Ways To Gain Muscle – 5 Health Tips To Gain Muscle

No Comments 24 August 2011

Healthy ways to gain muscle focus on methods that do not involve steroid usage, other strange drugs, exercises involving high risk of injury and so on. If you want to gain muscle without jabbing yourself in the bum and dosing yourself full of steroids, or if you don’t want to risk dislocating your shoulder doing some freaky exercise, then this article is for you. This article will reveal 5 healthy ways to gain muscle.

How to overload. This is a tougher topic when it comes to healthy ways to gain muscle. It is 100% true that you need to push your muscles beyond their comfort zone if you want to trigger growth. Unfortunately a lot of people lift way too much and end up injuring themselves. The best 2 precautionary measures I can advocate are to get a spotter, to help you while working out and to understand your body and its limits so you don’t go too far and injure yourself. After all, healthy ways to gain muscle are ways that do not involve you breaking a bone or dislocating a joint.

Eat healthy. An army marches on its stomach, and your muscles do the same. Without pumping your body with the required nutrition you will be unable to gain muscle. Nutrition however, is a strange thing and snacking on 3000 calories of sweets, chocolates and fizzy drinks is very different from consuming 3000 calories of good carbs, oils, and proteins. Yes, good carbohydrates, good oils and proteins are all necessary components of your diet. A healthy and large diet is one of the healthy ways to gain muscle.

Rest sufficiently. You grow when you rest. Not while you lift weights, not while you run on the treadmill, but while you rest. You grow when you’re doing nothing on the couch, when you’re sprawled out on your bed. Therefore giving your body this time to grow is very important. There are specific hours when sleep is most effective. Optimize your rest by sleeping at these times and if possible with power naps at strategic times.

Warm up and stretch: A lot of body builders forget to do this or ignore it like it’s some old superstition. But warming up and stretching is good science and truly one of the healthy ways to gain muscle. Warming up primes the muscles and blood circulation in anticipation of an intense workout. This tunes the body into the right gear for your work out. Exercising on a stiff, cold body can cause injury and will also minimize the effectiveness of your work outs.

Supplement use: A lot of people think healthy ways to gain muscle and supplements don’t go together. This is untrue. Yes whole foods are great for you and must make up the bulk of your diet. These however, just don’t cut it at certain times. For instance, immediately after a work out, when nutrients are sucked up faster than toys in a store on Christmas eve, whole foods just can’t cope with the demand for nutrients. These are the times that supplements do exactly as their name suggests and supplement your whole food diet. Beware, the supplement industry because this is one of the healthy ways to gain muscle that certain companies may use to scam you out of your money. Make sure you only get supplements that truly work because a lot of stuff out there does nothing good for your body.

There are many healthy ways to gain muscle but this article focuses on overloading techniques, eating right, resting right, warming up and stretching and supplement usage.By following these simple tips you can gain some impressive muscle weight with minimal risk of injury or health complications. Hope you enjoyed this article on healthy ways to gain muscle.

Submitt your muscles to more stress than they are acustumed to(lifting),eat a high protien diet, get penty of sleep because the muscle grows when it is recovering from the workout not while it is working.
