You will gain fat. Working out causes you to use the nutrients in the mass gainer for lean tissue building. Without working out you consume the same amount of calories but it will be stored as excess energy in the form of fat.

you telling us that “i wanna gain mass without gaining fat” and asking us how much you should be eating isn’t enough information. depends on your weight and height and how often you workout.

anyway, ill give you a few ratios that people consider common for building mass- 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% fat. all your meals should have that ratio. your going to have to learn the nutritional numbers of the stuff you buy and cook.

please dont be one of those “skinny guys” that think you need to eat like a truck to gain muscle either. muscles grow from protein, not calories. unless your >7 feet tall you shouldn’t consume more than 3500-4000 calories a day, and if you were average (say 5’10, 180lbs) you shouldnt eat more than 2500

Components On How To Build Muscle Mass

No Comments 17 October 2011

A lot of people want to have leaner bodies so that they can command respect from other people. In fact, the more athletic your physique is, the more people will admire you for how dedicated and good you look. That is why, a lot of people perform a lot of regimens in order to achieve the lean bodies that they want. One of the most common regimens people do is weights training. People who do weight training have one goal in their minds and that is to build muscles. However, when it comes to building muscles, weights training is not the only thing that you need to focus on. In fact, building muscles is not an easy task the fact that it involves a lot of things.

On the other hand, building muscle without weights is downright impossible thus it is crucial to take note that muscle building with weights should be coupled with other components which include proper nutrition and rest.

The muscle is made up of tiny molecules called amino acids which in turn makes up protein. Thus, the best way to build muscle fast is to get proper nutrition. If you want to improve the bulk of your muscles, then you need to eat more food. But this does not mean that you eat fries, burgers and milkshakes outright. If you really want to improve your muscles, make sure that you eat food high in protein, fats, carbohydrates and essential micronutrients. Do not load up with just about any food from any food group.

When you do muscle training to build muscles, it is important that you do not overexert yourself. Giving your muscles a time to rest is very important especially if you have been training a lot. The thing is that overexertion can often lead to muscle atrophy and this is the reason why you notice that you exercise a lot but you really don’t see any improvement in your muscles. Rest is very important because it allows your muscles to grow. It is advisable to let your muscles rest for two days before you proceed to your weights training. Now if you cannot live without getting your daily exercises, then you still exercise without the weights involved.

So if you want to build your muscles, it is important to take note that building muscles is not an overnight feat and no magic pill can help you achieve it but with hard work and dedication, you will be able to get the body that you desire.
